About us
Our cause
Fighting 4 Freedom believes in second chances. People who are incarcerated are faced with paying for attorneys or advocates to fight for their freedom. We would like to lift that burden by offering a less expensive alternative or providing pro bono services.
Founded in Virginia in 2021 by Karen Dickson-Morrison, we work the parts of a case that fall between the cracks: the parole packet nobody filed, the clemency petition nobody proofread, the family that does not know what to say at a hearing. Some of the people we represent were convicted of crimes they did not commit. Others were sentenced far past anything their conduct called for. All of them are still someone's son, father, or friend.

Despite the harsh reality of his circumstances, Larry has cultivated an incredible artistic talent, using his gift to create powerful and thought-provoking artwork.

Assist with preparing families for parole hearings, so the right things get said to the right people.

Work with creating clemency, pardon, and parole packets, and file them with the offices that decide.
