Federal clemency, conditional pardons, sentence reductions, and parole grants won at a first board hearing.
Sentenced in the Eastern District of Virginia to 16 concurrent life sentences for his role in a non-violent drug conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine, his first ever felony conviction. On December 19, 2016, Corey received clemency.
Darrell served 32 years on a life sentence. Karen Morrison filed a federal clemency on behalf of Darrell in 2020.
Lawrence served 20 years on a three life plus 23 years sentence. Karen Morrison filed a supplemental to Mr. Stephens' original pardon petition in 2020. He was granted a conditional pardon on 12.17.2021.
Daniel was sentenced to 305 years in the Virginia Department of Corrections and released after serving 23 years. Daniel was released in March of 2021.
Stephone was 17 years old at the time of his incarceration. He spent 23 years in prison and was granted parole on his first meeting with the parole board. Stephone spent half his life in prison.
Tony Streets, first degree murder, was granted parole on the first meeting with the parole board. Fishback Parole. Christora Clarke assisted Karen Morrison with advocating for Tony Streets' release.
Phillip Wheatley was granted parole on his first meeting with the parole board members. Fishback Parole. Former Vice President Edward Simms won the release of Phillip Wheatley.
Joseph Golphin was incarcerated for a probation violation. He committed a new crime where he was sentenced to 3 years. He violated probation and his life sentence was reinstated. He served 18 years. His parole was granted.
Courtlon "Champ" Turner is a dedicated father and a successful barber. Champ was attacked by his close friend, who at the time was having an aggressive paranoid outburst.
Adwin, also known as Kendrick Charles Johnson, was 16 years old at the time of his offenses. He was sentenced to spend twenty-three years in prison for use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
Sho'wn was sentenced to 41 years for the distribution of crack that was valued at $150, less than a gram.
