Dr. Thomas Reed-Bey completed a Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree in Theology, a Doctorate of Philosophy in Religion, (PhD) and yet the Virginia Parole Board denied him parole. He is what we consider a success story for the Virginia Department of Corrections, and we would like to share his brilliance to the world.
Dr. Thomas Reed-Bey is remorseful for his criminal conduct. He used his time in prison for self-improvement. We pray that he is given a second chance. Fighting 4 Freedom will continue to advocate for release.
If a doctorate earned behind the wall is not evidence of rehabilitation, it is fair to ask what the board is measuring. We will keep asking, and we will keep filing.
