Fighting 4 Freedom · Website rebuild

Website Concepts

Design directions for the new fighting4freedom.info, each built out as a real working site rather than a flat mockup. Open one, scroll it, click through the pages, then use your back button to come back and compare. As new directions come together they'll show up here too.

Concept 01

The Record

Editorial and documentary, built on the language of a case file. Deep ink navy, warm paper, and a single gold accent that carries every call to action. The people you represent are the design: real portraits run large in black and white, warming to colour on hover, with sentence, jurisdiction, and years served set as hard data next to each name.

Each case is a dossier rather than a blog post, visitors can filter by parole, clemency, innocence, or juvenile sentencing, and the Victory Corner is rebuilt as a running record of releases instead of an archive category. Serious without being bleak, which is the balance a donor page has to strike.

Notes for this review content, figures, and what is still open
  • All copy, case details, team bios, and photography come from the existing fighting4freedom.info. Nothing here is invented about a person or a case.
  • Figures are counted from the current site: 11 releases, 7 active cases, 305 years as the longest sentence overturned. Please confirm before launch.
  • Forms and payment buttons are not wired up. Submitting one shows a note saying so. PayPal and Zeffy links carry across at build.
  • News articles are represented by the index page. Full post pages come across during migration.
  • Portraits are your own images pulled from the live site. Several are low resolution and would benefit from better source files.
  • Still to resolve: EIN and formal 501(c)(3) statement, a public email address and phone number, and Privacy and Terms pages.
